Vehicle Description
The 1940 Bantam Hollywood Convertible is nothing short of a unique
automobile. It was branded Hollywood back in 1940 by a man named
Alex Tremulis based out of California after he created the design.
It is rumored that 143 of these vehicles were manufactured in 1940,
and only 15% have been fully restored, and you are currently
viewing one of the 15%. This particular 1940 Bantam Hollywood
Convertible is a car that is in superb condition which makes it
very hard to come by nowadays. This Bantam has a Hill Master
Engine, which runs like a charm still. Also, with a three-speed
manual transmission, this vehicle is simple to drive as well.
Arguably one of the best unique cars of 1940 and the best civilian
car Bantam ever manufactured. One of the most interesting things
about these cars is that they were manufactured in our backyard!
They were produced in a factory right here in Butler, Pennsylvania,
about a 45-minute drive north of Pittsburgh. Though that does not
impact the value of the vehicle, it adds to the interest level,
being that such a classic car was created not too far from where it
ended up 77 years later! The exterior of this vehicle is an
Aquamarine type of Green, with a Gray soft top roof. On the inside,
there is a Red Leather interior and a very simple dashboard. This
Bantam can be yours for the very affordable price of $24,998!
