This is s a very original 1956 F-100 that is in great shape. It was recently been restored, which included a complete overhaul (crankshaft to carb.) of the original 272 C.I.D. ¨Y-block¨ V-8 and four speed manual transmission. The motor features the original block, cylinder heads, intake manifold, original valve covers, newer Holley carburetor, original air cleaner, original style exhaust manifold (without the front crossover pipe) and dual exhaust. The motor sounds and runs great, has lots of power, great compression, and no leaks. All of the drivetrain is original and well maintained. It was also recently upgraded with a new power steering system.
The new yellow and maroon two tone paint is in perfect shape, and gives it that vintage look. It also has a true to era new varnished wood panel bed. It has all the original emblems, as well as the original hubcaps,original steering wheel, shifter and glove box. The body is all steel and straight as an arrow with no rust, the doors open and shut correctly, and all the glass has been replaced. The interior features a comfortable, new leather bench seat, seat belts, new headliner, new door panels, interior light, the original instrument panel (with all gauges working), adjustable air vent below the windshield, and a CD player.
