Vehicle Description
Welcome to StreetDreamsTexas as we celebrate our 18th year in the
classic and muscle car business. The Chevrolet Nomad two-door wagon
(1955-1957) has been considered a classic for so long that it seems
to have been born that way. Although the name carried on for a
couple of years after the '55-'57's, these "Tri-Fives" are
considered by most to be the only "true" Nomads. Our wicked '56
looks amazing in its orange and white, two-tone livery. Under the
hood lies a Chevrolet 350ci V8 fortified with an Edelbrock 4bbl
carburetor, Edelbrock polished aluminum intake manifold, and
Sanderson ceramic coated exhaust manifolds. Shifting duties are
handled by a rebuilt 700R4 automatic overdrive transmission.
Comfort and convenience features include power steering, power
front-disc brakes, power windows, Vintage Air air conditioning, tan
leather custom interior, polished tilt steering column, custom
gauge cluster, and a JVC stereo. For a finishing touch we just
added a new set of Coys wheels to give her that perfect stance.
Photographs of the frame-off restoration are included in the car's
journal. We have also just recently detailed the underside of this
Rad Rod to make it a true show car. Street Dreams is a full service
dealership that can assist with worldwide delivery, insurance, and
financing options.
