Vehicle Description
Cruise-ins were made for this 1933 Ford Pickup. It has the right
custom look on the outside, comfortable upgrades on the inside, and
a fantastic small block under the hood that's ready for both show &
go. It's a unique turnkey smile machine just waiting for you.
This pickup has a mean stance that combines the original hot rod
spirit with a bit more modern touches. This is a Henry Ford steel
body truck with glass fenders and hood, which appeals to more of a
driving crowd, so you can go for a 1930s-style cruise without the
apprehension. The body certainly has tighter gaps than an original
Model A so great craftsmanship was done during the restoration. But
right now all you have to do is fall in love with this cool color
called Perfect Purple. It earns this name because the shine looks
amazing reflecting the sunlight at a Sunday show or the neon glow
from a fun night out on the town. In fact, the gloss is so nice,
it's used in places traditionally reserved for chrome like the
grille surround and headlight bar. But it wouldn't be a true
American custom build without brightwork. It's now reserved for the
more aggressive elements of this pickup like the 15-inch Billet
Specialties alloys and the butterfly intake that's peering above
the hood with a menacing cool.
Inside, the tan bucket seats provide far more comfort than anything
from the 1930s ever could. And the matching side panels and black
carpeting feel nice and fresh. But this is not purely a coddling
machine. You know that the moment you slip behind the sports
steering wheel and gaze across the exterior matching dash. The
AutoMeter tach and B&M shifter are clear indications of
something special under the hood even before you hear the growl of
the dual exhaust.
A motor like this should always be on display to the world. After
all, with the bright snorkel air grabber, exhaust, Edelbrock valve
covers, and so much more, it's hard to identify anything else that
can be polished. And beyond the shine is the substance of a 350
cubic-inch small block with dual electric fans, a hi-rise intake,
and dual four-barrel carburetors. It's a wicked sounding and
performing motor that's backed up by a stout TH350 three-speed
automatic transmission. Up front there's a four-link drop axle, and
out back is a reinforced setup with adjustable coilovers. They help
keep the massive 31x18 rubber on the road, and the front disc
brakes do a fine job keeping it all under control.
You're looking at a pickup that has great color, great stance, and
a really great V8. That's why you know you want this great deal
