1968 Cadillac DeVille Convertible
Honest good driving vehicle. Strong engine top worked great and the recent repaint showed extremely well. I believe mostly original with the exception of the paint and some interior components. The engine engine bay suspension like much of the car appeared nearly all original.
The transmission had a major leak which Mark said he was having fixed the battery was dead and the alternator needs to be tested. One of the power window switches was not working and the a/c was not working. The brakes could use to be adjusted as well. If we were to take this car to auction I would consider replacing the wheels with something more original and removing the aftermarket stereo components.
Car metered fairly consistently. Much of the car was in the 15-30 mil range. The lower portions of the quarter panels had some filler in them and metered 65+. This is fairly consistent with a mostly original car stored in a dry climate. Odometer indicates 20700 so my inclination is that the original mileage on the car is 120K.
