1965 Ford Galaxie NASCAR Recreation
This 1965 Galaxie was actually custom built to replicate Ned Jarretts 1965 NASCAR championship car. It was specially built for NASCAR so that it could be presented to Ned Jarrett when he was inducted in the NASCAR Hall of Fame. The car comes with tons of Ned Jarrett memorabilia including race programs and autographs. There is also a picture of Ned Jarrett beside the car when it was presented to him. There is even a die cast replica of the car that is signed by Ned. Lots of effort was put into creating this car for the special and important function. It has a professionally built 390 in it that includes a Big Comp Cam Edelbrock intake Holly 4 barrel carb Sanderson Headers open exhaust and MSD electronics. Other features are a true roll cage drop spindles front disc brakes steel wheels big front sway bar and Monroe shocks. The interior has also been custom built to match the actual style of the 65 race car. To top it off the car has rebuilt 4 speed Top Loader and a 3.88 posi traction rear end. This is a real racer that actually has California plates and is street legal. The car is loud and proud and brings tons of interest wherever it goes.
