This one-of-a-kind 1964 Thunderbird Convertible is powered by a custom-installed big-block 428 cubic-inch V-8 and upgraded C6 automatic transmission, both of which were options not available on T-Birds until 1966. Power steering, power brakes, power window lifts, power door locks, power top, and twin power bucket seats. New and rare original color factory correct Peacock exterior finish. Metallic Turquoise interior with custom high contrast Arctic White upholstery, steering wheel and dash/console trim. New door panel carpet and molded floor carpet with correct turquoise T-Bird floor mats. The new white retractable top folds out of sight by means of rear hinged deck lid. Factory installed air conditioning with new compressor and dryer-receiver updated to R-134 refrigerant. New radial wide white wall tires and factory installed fender skirts. Gleaming new Thunderbird Roadster wire wheels with spinner caps and iridescent blue center medallions.
Engine bay carefully detailed with documented professionally rebuilt 428 V8 with only 4,100 miles since installation. Includes new fuel pump, fuel filter, air filter, brake master cylinder, starter relay, voltage regulator, ignition tune-up parts, hoses, drive belts, engine decals, Ford brand Motorcraft battery, and remanufactured carburetor. Steering & suspension inspected and repaired as needed. New upper and lower ball joints, strut rod bushings, and lower control arm bushings. Front end aligned with new correct factory design shims. Trunk area includes new matching spare tire with cover, correct pattern trunk liner and side boards, 17- piece trunk weatherseal kit, and new high output hydraulic pump and motor. Additional new weatherseals have been installed throughout the vehicle.
