VERY RARE TRUCK ! 1 of 300 GMC Suburban Carrier Pickups manufactured in 1955. Similar to a Chevy Cameo (5,000 manufactured in 1955). NOT completely original. Engine and trans from a 1966 Chevy (283). Truck was restored during the 80's /90's and has less than 3,000 miles .I also have a 248 Pontiac engine and matching 4-speed transmission (from a 1956 stepside) that goes with the sale . Stewart Warner gauges in dash now but I have all original gauges . BODY is ALL STEEL... except for the parts which should be fiberglass ( rear fenders , tail gate inside / out) . Also included in the sale ...Top Front radiator /fender cross member, R/L doors and hood from 1957 GMC, 4 front fender GMC emblems (pot metal) and the front turn signal/running light chrome grill for 1957 Chevy Nomad/Bel Air ... And whatever else ,truck related, gathered over the years .
