Vehicle Description
1950 Ford Woody Station Wagon beautiful restored. We have owned
this woodie for a few years now and have had an absolute blast in
it. It was featured in a few weddings and even my own wedding last
year. It's a beautiful and nostalgic car that is the iconic picture
of the 1950's surf scene. This car is an older restoration. It has
some neat history behind it and the people who were involved in the
restoration on the car. The woodie looks fantastic on the inside,
the outside, and in the engine compartment. The body is very
straight with no rust and the nice green paint looks great! The
wood kit is new on the sides. The rear gate has wood inserts on it
and could use a new coat of clear on it. There is a little piece of
wood that is missing on the left side of the car. The chrome is all
in nice shape and looks really good and shiny on the car. There are
a couple of little spots where it shows its wear and patina and has
a flake or two in it near the rear bumper bolts holes. The wheels
and tires are in great shape and like new. The torque thrust wheels
are a nice timely addition to the car. The interior of the car is
in very nice, restored condition. The interior looks very good, and
the seat and all of the upholstery in the car has been redone. The
headliner looks super! There was a pesky little mouse that nibbled
two holes in the headliner, one near the driver side and passenger
side close to where your head would be. The floors have all new
period correct rubber flooring on them. The dash looks great and
shows very nicely! The gauges all are in working condition. The
clock and radio don't work, I have never checked to see why they
don't. The windows and seals are all in great condition. The car
has an original Fulton sun visor that was painted to match the car.
The engine is a new rebuilt 8ba Ford Flathead. The car is still
original 6v and has not been messed with. As you can see the engine
compartment is very clean... clean and clear title in my name.
