Please contact us for more information. This is probably one of the rarest Yenko Camaros built. This car was purchased from Yenko Chevrolet on February 19th by a gentleman named Charles Wine, one of Don Yenko's close friends. They decided to build this car for themselves to go racing. Don Yenko installed all of his Remaining parts from his Stormer program that he started in 1967. This car was built to compete with all the big blocks at the track. They succeeded. The quarter mile times were in the low 12 seconds where all of the Yenko big block cars were. After racing for a year, this fully documented Yenko Z28 Camaro was sold through Yenko Chevrolet to John Shriver. This car retains all of the original Yenko sales documents including the original Protect-O-Plate and counter receipt from Yenko Chevrolet for the performance upgrades. Also there is a signed affidavit from the owner which states that this is a documented original 17,000-mile car. This car is completely original. We even have the original time slips from Atco and Pittsburgh race tracks. There is also the original Cam card from Yenko that has been certified by Warren Dernoshek as the real deal. Warren Dernoshek is the sole survivor of Yenko Chevrolet. He was the main mechanic for all of the performance cars including this Z28 at Yenko Chevrolet. This is a factory Z28 X77 car that retains all of its original components. It is a factory Cortez silver with black rally stripes car radio delete no console 12 bolt rear with 3.73 Posi Muncie M22 4-speed transmission with Hurst shifter, DZ302 engine and all of the original parts that Yenko installed in 1969. These parts are the remote gauges including the signature tach from Yenko high-performance Mallory ignition system Yenko line lock system upgraded Holley carburetor light weight Endura painted front bumper Yenko traction bars and the original Atlas/Cragar magnesium wheels. Other signature items include is the under hood light that switches on and off from the engine compartment so you can work on it at night at the race track and the remote crank button in the engine to adjust the timing. This is a one of a kind car and a rare opportunity to own a very significant piece of the Yenko history.
