Here is a very clean great running and driving 1955 Pontiac Chieftain with a 287 V8 that absolutely purs with some nice upgrades like Pertronix electronic ignition and a Powermaster alternator that still looks like a factory generator. The dual range Hydra-Matic transmission shifts perfectly and was recently completely rebuilt. This car has rare factory power steering and power drum brakes that also work great with no issues. The suspension has been completely rebuilt with all factory NOS parts so the car drives and stops great as well. This is an older restoration from the late 80's that still shows very well but it is not perfect, that being said it was a very well done restoration and it has stood the test of time quite well. I got a quote of $900 from a quality local body shop to re-paint the roof and touch up that area on the hood that can be seen in the pics. I was told that this Pontiac was owned by Lynda Snyder the daughter of the In&Out Burger owner Harry Snyder but I have no way to confirm that story.
