This A-code convertible is currently equipped with a 302ci V8, 4-speed manual transmission, GT equipment, bench seat and luggage rack. It has been owned for the last 22 years by Barrett-Jackson President, Steve Davis. It was a daily driver until being put into long-term storage over ten years ago. A comprehensive service was just completed by the Barrett Jackson Collection Showroom Service Department including fuel, cooling and brake systems, as well as new tires and battery. The VIN on the California title matches the data door plate, the Fender Stamp reflects "07" designating coupe instead of "08" convertible, appears to be a factory mis-stamp. Most importantly, the consecutive build number matches the data door plate, fender stamp and title. A very solid and desirable example of the first-generation Mustang.
