Vehicle Description
This custom, one-of-a-kind Pro-Touring Mustang has been built from the ground up. The front frame and suspension are from Martz Chassis. The frame rails are 2x3" with coilover shocks, rack & pinion steering, Martz Chassis triangulated 4-link rear suspension with air ride, a stainless-steel fuel tank and pump from Rick's Tanks and Accessories, and a front-to-rear roll cage. It is powered by a Ford 4.6-liter DOHC supercharged unit that has been built to resemble the Ford GT40 race car's fearsome power plant. This has been dyno-tuned with boost that can be tuned up to 9 pounds; it's currently at 6 pounds. The transmission is a 5-speed manual Tremec that is matched to a Ford 4-link 9" rear end and Moser third-member housing a Detroit Locker with a 3.89:1 ratio. The long tube headers are from Stainless Works, and the exhaust is from Flowmaster and it is outfitted with Be Cool cooling module and fans. The car is completely smoothed, and the undercarriage and chassis are also painted, reflecting the overall build quality. The exterior exhibits Shelby-style components from Maier Racing, tucked and smoothed bumpers, HID headlamps, custom smoothed inner fender wells and core support. It also features 17" Billet Specialties wheels, billet LED sequential taillights, remote entry, and billet hinges for the trunk and hood. It is finished in House of Kolors Platinum Pearl with True Blue stripes. The custom suede and Ultraleather interior is equally well-done with power windows, Procar seats, in-dash AM/FM stereo system with rear speakers, Vintage Air Gen IV system, billet dash inserts with Auto Meter gauges and short-throw shifter with custom console and billet insert.
