Vehicle Description
The first of its kind: An upgraded version of the Bandit Trans Am. From a private collection, this Hurst Trans Am was built by the Trans Am Depot and it is serial #001. This car won Top Ten at SEMA in 2012 and features a dyno-tuned 600hp SLP ZL575 supercharged engine with full-length stainless headers and exhaust, backed by a 6-speed manual transmission with Hurst shifter. A massive amount of fabrication and engineering went into making the working '70s-style T-top and reverse tilting hood with OE-style air intake Shaker scoop. Body modification started with flanged drop fender extenders, ground-effect side skirts, Trans Am Depot custom front and rear fascia and a three-piece spoiler. The headlights were converted to HID xenon quad lamps and every other exterior light was converted to top-of-the-line LEDs. Being the first of its kind, the interior was re-imagined with a carbon-fiber dash, door inserts and gauge cluster. In recognition to its heritage, the gauges were refaced with'70s-style gauges and the seats were reupholstered using two-tone leather and topped with custom anodized billet sill plates and Hurst dash plaque. This custom-built car was lowered using Eibach 1" drop spring kit, Eibach anti-sway bars and Ganatelli subframe kit sitting on 20x10" and 20x11" snowflake-designed wheels and Pirelli P-Zero tires.
