The 440 Six Pack was the famed 3x2's Holley carburetors which were able to deliver a decent MPH--providing you were able to Keep you foot out of it Extended nose cone proved to be a challenge to fit this unique vehicle into many parking spots. the Sky-High rear wing made it easy to find in jammed parking lots. 150 mph speedometer and Color Tach added to the mystique Plymouth said he NEVER made any money on these 308 Superbird's built. and to further add insult, many remained in the showroom floor as insurance rates on these cars blew through the roof and tastes and styles in this era began to shift away from this brand. Paint from the factory wasn't of very high quality. These finishes quickly failed and within a short time most required a New Paint job with a better type BC/CC to replace the checking lacquer jobs Chrysler and the other manufactures put out.
