This is a 1994 Component Craft Cobra Replica. Not to be confused with a kit car made in an amatuers garage, this is a well crafted, well designed machine. It handles and drives great, with no quirks or issues.
Paint is EXCELLENT. Obviously you'll never have rust issues, and it's stored inside and kept clean. It doesn't need a buff or polish, I dote on it constantly. It has one spider crack above drivers rear wheel, otherwise it's perfect.
The engine is a Roller cam (B Cam) 302, Ford Aluminum X heads, aluminum intake and Holley carb. Tuned on the dyno and made 290 at the wheels with the Cobra air cleaner installed. I do have most of the reciepts and the dyno sheet.
The suspension is adjustable coilovers, GM metric calipers with race compound pads. It has an adjustable brake balance bar in the pedal assembly (no cheesy adjust valves). Masters and pedal box are Tilton. Replacement parts are very easy to find, basically off the shelf circle track and race car parts.
Transmission is a T-5 and shifting is perfect. Hydraulic throw out bearing has no leaks or issues.
Rear end is a 9" with a new Currie limited slip unit. Works great. A little noisy on coast but pattern was great (photo available).
Tires are BF Goodrich, less than a year old but Goodyear letters (vulcanized) applied. No balance or flat spot issues.
Interior is in great shape. No leather tears or stains in carpet etc. Does have heat shield/sound deadening under carpet, no hot foot etc. I did install seat heaters and a USB charger. Can be removed in less than 5 minutes with no visible evidence. Makes it very nice to drive in cooler weather.
The car starts up immediately, it is tuned perfectly and needs nothing. I have driven it on 12 hour one way trips multiple times, with no issues. I truly hate to see it go and frankly I won't mind if I'm "forced" to hold on to it a while longer.
