Great rolling advertising opportunity Whether youre looking for
a vintage truck for fun, to complete your collection or as a moving
billboard for a business, MotoeXotica Classic Cars is pleased to
offer this 1946 Ford Panel Truck. It used to reside in the Kokomo
Automotive Museum in Kokomo, Indiana. In the 1940s and 1950s, if
one needed more covered space than a sedan offered to haul things,
a panel truck was the commercial vehicle of choice until compact
vans arrived in the early 1960s. As with everyone elses postwar
vehicles, Fords styling carried over from 1942. This examples
white paint with blue trim, which was recently repainted and its
trim are in very good shape with minor imperfections, as are the
glass sections, clear and crack-free. Its lights are in excellent
condition, as are the vehicles blue wheels, with dog dish wheel
covers. All of the body panels are straight, including the metal
step plates on the runningboards. In many cases back then, the
side-mounted spare tire was just a wheel; even after the war,
rubber supplies were short, and many vehicles didn't come with a
mounted tire. The trucks bumpers are in very good condition while
the cargo area is in good overall shape. Please note the graphics
on the sides of the truck are vinyl and easily removable if you
choose to replace with your own logo, we can even provide the vinyl
service for your new graphics. There is understood to be a 350 CID
V-8 under the hood, attached to a three-speed automatic
transmission. Inside, the black bench seat is in very good order.
The truck offers no carpeting but the floor has mats and is in good
shape. The trucks headliner is in very good condition while the
gray metal instrument panel is in very good order, with its Equus
speedometer and Auto Meter ancillary gauges. The black, three-spoke
steering wheel is in good shape, as are the gray door skins, the
mirror glass and the gearshift lever. This a radio delete model. In
the rear, the cargo bay is in overall good condition and includes a
jack but no spare tire. Currently the fuel gauge and the left
headlight low beam are inoperable. Competition to this Ford in 1946
included Chevrolets Panel Van and Dodges Model WX half-ton panel
van. This line of Ford trucks was the final ones prior to the
vaunted F-series, which debuted in 1948. In sum, if youre seeking
a unique rolling canvas for a creative advertising opportunity,

at our facility in St. Louis, Missouri. Current mileage on the
odometer shows 1,300 miles. It is sold as is, where is, on a clean
and clear mileage exempt title. GET OUT AND DRIVE!!! VIN:
