Vehicle Description
Building on the legendary D-type competition cars, Jaguar released the E-type to an enthusiastic market ready to purchase a road-going version of the potent race car. The SeriesII E-type boasts the larger 4.2-liter engine, improved 4-speed manual synchromesh gearbox and 12-volt electrical system, these cars are well-suited to everyday traffic while still retaining the punch of their predecessors. With 265hp and 283 ft/lbs of torque, larger Girling disc brakes and an improved cooling system, the Series II is also well-suited to competition in vintage club racing. This E-type has benefitted from some minor mechanical work. The carburetors have been rebuilt, a new starter has been fitted and the car has received a thorough mechanical inspection. Documentation from the Jaguar Heritage Trust will be included.
