1966 Chevrolet El Camino SS in Scottsdale, Arizona
With no rust anywhere, this has had a complete frame-off restoration and stored in a heated garage. The paint is base clear similar to the stock Marina Blue except a bit brighter. The interior is all-new and features an SS interior with black bucket seats and console as well as a Blaupunkt stereo unit. It also has the SS hood. The rebuilt 283ci original V8 is now 292ci and the transmission has been replaced with a completely rebuilt 700R4 automatic with overdrive. The stock floor shift has been converted to work properly with the 4-speed automatic transmission and has the correct plastic indicator to show what gear it's in. Everything works. The underside of this car is at least as good as new. Great tires are wrapped around polished aluminum Rally wheels with the correct hubcaps. The engine has a single Holley 4-barrel carb, a mild camshaft (350hp 327 specs) and dual stainless-steel exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. The original rear end has been fitted with quality Moser units. A very nice SS El Camino.
