This beautiful Lemon Yellow Super Beetle Convertible is completely original, with only 1,670 original miles. The Volkswagen was discovered in a New York City collection in May 2016. The original purchaser could not decide between a River Blue model or a Lemon Yellow model. So he did what any logical person would do: He purchased both. His intention was to use each Volkswagen sparingly and own them for many years. However, he became ill in the early '80s and was unable to see well enough to drive. The decision was made to part with the beloved Volkswagen Beetles with the hope of keeping them together. Both cars were acquired by a New York City collector and were stored for many years. 4-speed manual transmission.
