This head-turning example of classic Chevrolet style and muscle has had an excellent professional frame-on restoration with great attention to detail throughout. This is a real-deal SS as evidenced by the 138-code in the VIN. It's powered by a date-correct, 396/350hp Turbo Jet V8 engine, 4-barrel carburetor with open element air cleaner, new dual exhaust and automatic transmission. Other features include power steering, power brakes that were professionally replaced, new body bushings and restored suspension. It has the original CX-code 12-bolt rear differential with correct markings found on the driveline and firewall. It rides on new tires over rally wheels with new trim rings. Finished in Madeira Maroon with a factory-option lower red pinstripe, it has new front and rear bumpers. The interior has optional black bucket seats with console and clock.
