This is Ruby and she is a one-of-a-kind 1950 Mercury. She is a full custom show car that was featured at the 2016 SEMA show in Las Vegas, built by Street Rods By Mike. She was an award winner at Goodguys Scottsdale two weeks after SEMA. This is a brand new build that was just completed in October 2016. She is a full frame-off custom build designed by Street Rods By Mike of Wittmann, AZ. A multitude of updates includes 4-wheel disc brakes, Air Ride, stainless steel exhaust, 327 small-block Chevy with Tri-Power, 700R4 overdrive transmission, 9-inch Ford rear end, A/C, heat, defrost, PS, PB, tilt, 2 TV-DVD Kenwood entertainment with overhead monitor and Sony PlayStation. Three Alpine amps power the stereo system with two 12 Focal subwoofers, and eight Polk speakers inside the car. Custom built center council with cup holders in rear and air ride and A/C controls with storage compartments. The interior is a full custom design by Street Rods By Mike stitched up in Pumpkin leather and Ostrich with custom made love seat in rear. The body has many custom touches chop top, custom front end with Flenched 1953 Buick head lamps, 1952-1953 Chevy custom built bumper guard grill, pop out rear quarter windows, Flenched Cad tail lights. The whole bottom of this car is polished and looks like the outside body with custom chassis that hold two air ride compressors. The trunk is full custom as well with amp trays that remove and hidden panel the hold two Optima batteries with the air ride system with two are tanks. This is a one of a kind high end built Mercury. This car is a show stopper that has so many custom touches that make her a true Ruby.
