Vehicle Description
In addition to the original, born-with, drivetrain, this well-documented survivor Mustang Boss 302 is complete with owner history and preserved documentation dating to day one. It's equipped with wide-ratio 4-speed manual transmission and 3.50 gears in the rear end. Documentation includes the Window Sticker, original sales invoice, order form, Build Sheet, Buck Tag, door tag, engine tag, Ford owner card/warranty plate, all confirmed by the Marti Report. The complete service records, by original owner, range from the date of sale until 12/15/01 when the car had 62,230 miles. It now has 65,484 original miles (the title reads mileage exempt). On the Marti Report, the paint is marked as "special order Ford # unknown." It is also marked in the report as one of 26 with this paint code. The order sheet says color code-6 which is "Medium Bright Blue" and the Window Sticker says "special paint NC." The interior is also original, including the carpet. It has never had any rust. This is reinforced by the original exhaust system which is still in place, with Ford-marked mufflers, as is the original fuel tank. It retains the correct Boss 302 equipment including carburetor, exhaust manifolds, rev limiter, dual point distributor and intact California smog equipment which is on the fuel tank inside the trunk. It also has the space-saver spare, jack and air bottle for the space saver. The car runs and drives great. All gauges work, as does the radio and the tachometer. It wears brand-new correct-size Goodyear Polyglas tires.
