Vehicle Description
Just Toys Classic Cars prides itself on bringing a little bit of
everything for everyone and this here is a great example. This is a
1963 Buick Skylark convertible. Everyone knows that Buick's were
not cheap back in the day. They were the higher end of things over
a Chevrolet or a Pontiac. This here is a fun survivor convertible.
It has had one repaint about 15 years ago and still presents itself
very well. The original color was Willow Mist, but you can never go
wrong with lipstick red. This fit and finish are still in really
good shape. There are some trim pieces here and there that could
fit a little better, but everything shines bright still. This is
why this isn't a very expensive convertible. You can get in this
car and go have fun as it is or put a little money in to it and
take it to the next level.
The interior presents very well also. You can tell that the seats
have been redone and there are no rips or tears in them. The code
as you will see in the pic of the trim plate was 030 which was
Sandlewood and they were done in vinyl. Again, this car presents
very well and you can just jump right in and go for a ride. The
white vinyl top is in great shape. There is a new pump in the
trunk, but it is not hooked up, so as of right now it is a manual
top. Again, this is why the car is priced the way it is. You can
make this a father/son project and have fun doing things together
with it.
Under the hood sits the original 215 V8 and it is believed to be a
22k mile survivor. Miles are obviously exempt due to the age of the
car. We can tell you that it fires right up and purrs like a
kitten. The shifter as you will see in the pics was moved to the
floor with a B&M shifter. Again, if you want to make the car
original and move it back up to the column. The tranny shifts great
as well.
This car gets looks everywhere it goes just as it sits. This is a
great first convertible or a father/son project as well. We offer
