For Sale at Auction: 1962 Ford F150 in Scottsdale, Arizona
This unibody short box has ultra-rare panoramic rear window cab option. It's finished in a beautiful metallic tangerine color that appears orange and bright conditions and red in low light. During its complete custom build, the original frame rails were C-notched and then fully boxed. All-new tubular cross members were fabricated and a TCI tubular Mustang II front suspension with 4-link rear suspension were installed. The frame and body are painted the same color as the interior fabric. Four-wheel Wil wood disc brakes fill the 20" Foose Nitrous ll wheels that tuck way into the wells when the air suspension is deflated. The under-mounted power brake booster leaves the firewall clean in this truck's outstanding engine compartment. A complete fabricated aluminum engine cover, inner fender wells and custom air intake set this engine bay apart. The 396ci Ford Windsor stroker is outfitted with Kaase cylinder heads and makes 475hp on 87 octane gasoline. It's mated to a JW Built Turbo 400 automatic transmission with an Ultra Bell adapter. This combination allows a strong automatic shift without using a manual valve body. Featured in two magazines, this truck has also won Best Truck of Show in the Calgary World of Wheels. It received many first in class trophies and won best paint twice. It has only 135 miles after having undergone a 2,000-hour build.
