Up for sale is this unrestored 1979 International Scout ll with the rare 4 cylinder "half V8" engine, 4-speed manual, Dana axles and front disk brakes. This two Texas owner survivor shows 97000 on the odometer, is in good running condition and shows its patina well. The engine runs cool and smooth and has lots of torque. The 4-speed shifts properly up and down and into reverse. The clutch is strong. The transfer case is fully operational. The Scout rolls straight down the road and cruises at highway speed without drama. Steers and stops like a Scout. All of the lights and instrumentation are in operating condition. Tires are a decent matched set on wagon wheels. Interior is all original. Previous owner repaired a rusty rear floor and covered it in diamond plate and liked it so much he did the front floors too. It looks good and was done properly. There are two rust spots shown in the pics and there is a long crack in the windshield. There are two small dents, also shown.
