Having undergone a three-year body-off, nut-and-bolt rotisserie restoration, every part has been rechromed or powder-coated. Top to bottom, the body was stripped to the fiberglass. The complete body, bottom and top, was refinished in GM Silver Effect with Dover White coves and a white Al Knoch top kit. The all-new Al Knoch interior kit features new door panels, carpet and dash. Additionally, all dash lenses, accessories, knobs, switches and panels were also replaced. All the weatherstripping and fuzzy kits were replaced as well. It's also equipped with Vintage Air and heat, complete new American Auto Wire wiring harness with all-new switches. It has a Painless engine and computer system for engine management with a wiring harness for the LS1 conversion. The frame was stripped, modified and powder coated. Engine has been replaced with a 5.7-liter All American LS1 V8 engine with 345hp and a Muncie M-20 manual 4-speed transmission with a Hurst Corvette short super shifter. The steering has been modified to rack & pinion and is attached to an Ididit steering column. The rear end assembly features 3:55 posi-traction with traction bars. Stopping is provided by 12" Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes and a dual cylinder system. It rides on 5-spoke chrome Foose Knuckle wheels.
