First generation Mustangs are a great platform for a performance build like this one. With a lightweight body, and room for a healthy Ford small block, they make great hot rods. This '66 coupe has a healthy 289 CID V8 under the hood which really screams. The engine has been rebuilt and only driven about 800 miles since. It comes with a Holley carb, Mallory ignition, and a sweet sounding set of headers. Power runs through a C4 automatic with a new 3,000 stall converter to a new 8" rear end with 3.90 gears and Limited slip. Stomp on the gas and you can really get away from the lights in a hurry. Outside, this Mustang is coated in a beautiful coat of Atomic blue, with yellow stripes which really pops. It sports a cowl hood and a custom front valance. The exhaust exits through the rear valance just like a GT. Inside the interior has been all redone with very sharp cream upholstery. This one sports a rare split bench seat up front and the standard floor shifter. With power steering, front disc brakes, and seat belts, this one is safe and easy to drive.
