In 2005, this was purchased from the original owner. It has 75,763 original miles and the rebuilt engine has 217 miles. Documentation includes the original owner's manual, warranty cards, Marti Report, original Build Sheet and original Window Sticker. This also gives the production of all 1967 Mercurys which show there are only 10 convertibles ever built with 428ci engine and 4-speeds manual transmission. It also shows only one is painted Sage Gold. The floors and trunk are still like-new. It comes with an extra Hurst Competition Plus shifter. The engine and transmission were professionally built. It was bored .30 over, all balanced with new rings, bearings ,cam, oil pump, polished crank, oil filter, carb kit, fuel pump, gaskets, air cleaner, new brakes, gas tank and weatherstripping. The interior includes new carpet, seats, dash and top with a glass rear window as ordered when new. The bodywork and paint was finished in PPG base coat/clear coat. The new chromed bumpers and stainless was polished and straightened. It also has a new windshield and tires. This car has the original engine, transmission and rear end.
