Looking for a Beautiful Restored 1969 Datsun 2000 Roadster? This is it! This would look great in your garage! Take a look at the lines on this beauty. This is the Gold standard of Beauty and Style on which other roadsters are judged. We bought this car from the second owner that has owned it since 1971. Only 129,129 Original Miles. Her husband did a restoration about 10 years ago. When it was restored for her they changed the original color from red to white. The car is not restored to concourse specs but, as far as possible, all restoration maintained original specs. When we got it, we restored it to the Original red color. This is great driving car. It runs and drives VERY WELL, I drove it 170 mile back to Boise at 75 to 80 MPH with all kinds of pedal left. It has all the good looks, has the power you would expect from a Twin Carb 1982 cc engine with a 5-speed transmission and it handles like a go-cart, what is not to like? This is one Sexy car. This BEAUTY has the STRONG - ORIGINAL – Rebuilt, Engine number: U2014157 Four cylinder motor in it and running VERY WELL indeed. The motor still retains the Original Dual SU carburetors, Original air cleaner housing, Original intake manifold, Original exhaust manifold and its Original valve cover. Sounds good too with the new factory style exhaust system with a chrome tip. The engine is backed by a smooth Original Rebuilt five speed manual transmission which also functions very well. Original Rear Axle. New radiator, cap and new water pump. Both carburetors rebuilt. New master and slave cylinders and calipers were rebuilt. All new shocks suspension completely rebuilt with new bushings, ball joints, tie rod ends. The New interior is beautiful, including, NICE ORIGINAL Black vinyl front bucket seats that were just re-covered, new Black carpeting, a NICE ORIGINAL Datsun steering wheel, VERY NICE ORIGINAL matching Black vinyl door panels, New Black vinyl dash cap, VERY NICE ORIGINAL gauge cluster including a factory tachometer. All of the rubber weather-stripping is in nice shape. This 1969 Datsun 2000 Roadster is nicely equipped including factory gauge package including tachometer, new glass, good heater and defroster, original rear view mirror, front disc brakes and front anti-roll bar. This car is a great running and wonderful looking Datsun Roadster. This 1969 Datsun 2000 Roadster Convertible has sharp looks, great power! These vehicles have an appreciative group of owners any of which would be pleased to own this one. The suspension and drive train are all new and in good working order as well as the electrical system. All the lights work including headlights, taillights. Speaking of lights all of the ORIGINAL light and reflector lenses are clear, bright and uncracked and in BEAUTIFUL condition. The trunk compartment is also nice and clean and has a NEW Black carpet kit and a full size spare tire and original jack.
This 1969 Datsun 2000 Roadster is a great investment opportunity and it is priced right! It is in GREAT condition from top to bottom and from front to back. It will not disappoint someone looking for a good example of a sought after and hard to find Restored collector sports car which is not seen at every car show. If you have been looking but cannot find a Classic Sports Car worthy of your hard earned money look NO further because this is the one! The Red Basecoat/Clearcoat exterior finish on this vehicle is cut and polished to a high Shine, showing only a few very very small imperfections and is STUNNING as you can clearly see in the pictures! As for the body the trunk-lid, hood, doors, and body stripped and professionally repaired and painted by the shop that built the car that won “best of Show” at the biggest show in the US and Biggest Mopar show in 2010. The trunk had no rust and was re- painted. Paint color is proper for 2000 Roadster. What a STUNNING color combination, is there any better for a sports car? The original chrome and stainless is in good shape. Black convertible top is new. The “Modern” Sport Aluminum wheels are in great shape, with nice performance radial tires, and full sized spare. WOW, does this combination look OUTSTANDING on this car and really add to the overall cosmetic impression of this BEAUTY! This vehicle is in nice mechanical condition and it runs and drives very well. It is solid with respect to the overall mechanical condition as well as electrical, it still retains the original 12 volt system. I looked underneath and also included photos below.
