Vehicle Description
Found in a small town in Colorado, this Lincoln named "Soffie" was professionally restored in 1982. The restoration date of May 4, 1982, is inscribed on the back of the front bumper. Soffie has been kept in a garage at all times. As one of the top winners from the May 2008 Gateway Car Show, it was featured in the 2009 ad for the same show. In 2008, it won Best of Show for the Veteran's Motor Car Club of America's Father's Day Car Show. This was the largest car show in the area, with over 300 cars entered in the two-day event. Soffie was in the same family for the last 33 years. Purchased in 2002, the current owners continue to take loving care of the car. A Continental kit was added in 2003. Any service or repairs performed were done with the best original parts available. It drives nice and the automatic transmission shifts nicely. The convertible top is in good condition and operates smoothly. It's powered by a 368/300hp V8 with a 4-barrel carburetor. Other options include power seats, power wing glass and leather interior. A rare find: only 3,676 convertibles were made in 1957.
