Factory ordered with 250hp fuel-injected Ram Jet engine, the original owner of this '57 Chevy Bel Air convertible checked all the right boxes when it was ordered new. Built in Chevrolet's Los Angeles plant, this Bel Air has the highly desirable California-only one-piece front bumper. The power options ordered are extremely rare for 1957 and include power steering, power brakes, power windows, power seat, power-operated convertible top and power-operated rear antenna. In addition, the Wonder Bar radio, electric wipers with washer, Bel Air spinner hubcaps, seatbelts and black carpeting with Chevrolet mats were ordered new. The GF engine code signifies the extremely rare powertrain combination of a 250hp fuel-injected Ram Jet 283ci mated with the Turboglide 3-speed automatic transmission. The first-year Turboglide transmission has been updated with all-factory internal upgrades. Authentically refinished in its 794 paint code, the Imperial Ivory color is lacquer, hand-rubbed to Pebble Beach standards. All exterior brightwork, such as polished stainless steel, triple-plated chrome, silver anodized aluminum and gold accents are in good condition. The trim code 683, convertible-only red with silver circle pattern interior, is outstanding and without any trace of wear. This Bel Air runs beautifully, is a pleasure to drive and is factory date-code-correct.
