Vehicle Description
This Dodge Power Wagon was custom-fabricated on an actual flat-fender Power Wagon frame. It was built from the ground up to incorporate a completely modernized powertrain and suspension. It features hand-built custom crossmembers, motor mounts and suspension. The power plant is a completely rebuilt Cummins 4-cylinder turbo diesel P-pump model with a fully synchronized NV4500 5-speed manual transmission married to an NP205 transfer case. The axles are remanufactured CUCV axles with 4:56 gears, and a Detroit locker in the rear and premium Warn locking hubs in the front. The crossover steering creates a very tight steering design by eliminating many of the steering inefficiencies that come with traditional steering designs. The tires are 40" Continental MPT 81s mounted on custom-made 20" bead-lock wheels. The interior features the modern luxury amenities of today's standard car: power windows, RFID push-button start with proximity detection, touchscreen audio, nighttime automatic headlights, air conditioning, back-up camera and eight stereo speakers. This truck rides and handles excellent. No expense was spared and not one corner was cut in the building of this truck. The engine has had the injection pump turned up for more power with a 3,200 rpm governor spring kit and 50hp increase diesel injectors. It has plenty of power.
