Vehicle Description
The restoration began with an all-original body panel and Shelby fiberglass rust-free body. It includes the original owner's manual and warranty plate. The only upgrade to the Super Cobra Jet 428ci engine is a new Edelbrock AFB carburetor. The original is with the car. The engine and C6 transmission have been completely rebuilt to factory specifications, including all factory smog controls. The interior restoration included headliner, knit/Corinthian upholstery and carpets. The body is finished with base coat/clear coat Royal Maroon with gold striping. Meticulous detail with a view to absolute authenticity was undertaken during every aspect of this restoration prior to Carroll Shelby's signature on the dashboard.
