Vehicle Description
Just finished a rotisserie, ground up restoration by Mustang of
Chicago at a cost of $62,000. Completely restored cosmetically and
mechanically front to back. Done as a tribute to a Shelby GT-350 of
which only 4 convertibles were were made. The 289 engine was gone
through and has a little bit hotter cam, Edelbrock intake and
Holley 4-barrel carburetor. Has headers with custom flowmaster
exhaust. Rebuilt trans, suspension, upgraded power disc brakes.
Everything is new- wiring, gas tank, alternater, starter, power
steering system, cables, lines, hoses, shocks etc. New Pirelli
tires on correct Shelby reproduction wheels. All metal body and
floors. Gorgeous fit and finish. Paint is like glass and panel fit
is excellent. All new chrome, weatherstrips, window seals and
windshield. Brand new convertible top and boot. Underside is
detailed, suspension is spotless. Interior is completely restored
including new upholstery, cushions, door panels, steering wheel,
handles etc. Complete dash area is restored. Has retro stereo and
Shelby roll bar. Trunk compartment has jack and spare. Motor
compartment is detailed like a model car. Dressed up with Cobra
finned aluminum valve covers and air cleaner. A real Shelby that
looks just like this car car is going up for auction and has
estimated value of $1,000,000. Like new 65 Mustang with some sex
appeal!
