For Sale at Auction: 1969 Chevrolet Camaro in Scottsdale, Arizona

Vehicle Description

This 1969 complete custom Camaro "Tenacity" was built by renowned shop East Bay Muscle Cars in Brentwood, CA. It received the Goodguys National Street Machine of the year top finalist and a Design Award at the Optima Ultimate Street Car Invitational. Also won Goodguys West Coast Nationals Builders Choice Award, Del Mar Nationals Builders Choice Award and was a Del Mar Nationals Muscle Machine of the Year finalist. With an Art Morrison Max G chassis, every single thing on this car, besides the roof, has been custom-fabricated on this $300,000 build. It's powered by a Mast Motorsports 6.8-liter 416ci LS3 good for 650hp and 560ft/lbs of torque, custom intake with K&N twin-cone filters and Tremec T-56 Magnum 6-speed manual transmission. The prep time and money put into paint job is evident upon seeing the car in person. Beautiful Audi Lava Grey PPG paint with the matte grey paint on the hood grabs your attention. With 3" custom headers, the exhaust runs through the frame bay and all lines and wires were hidden or tucked. With a Pro-Touring design planned for the build, the engine is pushed back 8", allowing for true 50/50 weight distribution, and it drives like a modern ZO6 Corvette. With the engine setback 8" and custom-designed engine mounts and engine bay, it won Top 10 Most Trend Setting Cars at SEMA and is nothing short of breathtaking when you open the hood. In addition, the body has been lowered 3" over the chassis for the perfect ride height. It also has a custom-fabricated tucked bumper, spoiler, front bumper and front aero, giving the car a much more modern and exotic look and aero profile. Other modifications include custom wheel tubs, recessed firewall, body dropped-over frame rails 3", fabricated fuel filler recessed in taillight panel, shaved drip rails, door extended 2" downward, custom front spoiler and rear spoiler. It also has brushed nickel exhaust tips, cowl and hood. The interior was built in the same high-end exotic luxury as the rest of the build. On the leather and micro-suede-wrapped interior there is a custom '67 Camaro dash extended 4", custom-molded fiberglass door panels, headliner, dash pad, modified Cadillac CTS center console, custom modified Recaro seats, Momo steering wheel and Dakota Digital gauges. The rear seats have been removed and a custom designed rear package shelf with seat belt harness attachments is there in place with micro-suede covering throughout. It's also equipped with Winters quick-change 4:30 gears with posi-traction, front and rear Baer 14" drilled and slotted 6-piston brakes and Strange engineering adjustable coilovers. It rides on Forgeline three-piece GA-3 custom brushed-nickel with Titanium centers, giving it a perfect drivable stance. This is truly a one-off, custom build. Every detail and aspect of the design and construction carefully attended to throughout.
