Vehicle Description
Just 547 of these special cars were built in a collaborative effort between Buick and ASC McClaren. Extensive modifications done by ASC to the popular Buick Grand National involved both performance and cosmetic changes that set this car far apart from a regular-production GN. The enthusiastic press of the time went crazy for the car, and the very low production number resulted in these cars being in high demand since their production 30 years ago. With 1,500 miles by only one previous owner, bulletproof extensive documentation and the recipient of outstanding care from day one, this Buick GNX is truly a rare find. The original owner, who maintains a very fine personal car collection, ordered and took delivery of this GNX in September 1987 from his local dealer, Saeger Buick Sales & Service in Columbus, OH. Being an experienced collector, he was sure to collect and save all relevant paperwork and other related pieces - such as the exclusive GNX owner's jacket - all of which accompany the sale of this car. This GNX has been maintained throughout its life in secure storage and has absolutely no performance or condition issues. A recent, very thorough service ensures this car runs and drives as good as it looks. Automatic transmission.
