Vehicle Description
In 2013, starting with a solid California truck, a three-year-long professional frame-off rotisserie restoration was completed on this FJ-40. The truck was completely disassembled and every part was either reconditioned or replaced with OEM parts. All the metal is original, media-blasted, primed with PPG ECH, painted in PPG base coat and finished with PPG Global clear coat. All the drivetrain components were rebuilt and the seals/gaskets were replaced. It has new suspension and Toyota tool kit. It was assembled with stainless hardware, including the brake and gas lines. Many parts were powder-coated, including the oil pan, seat frames and wheels. The exhaust system and manifold were ceramic-coated. The interior features custom stitched seats. 3-speed manual transmission. This vehicle has been kept in a climate-controlled collection for several years.
