This car was rebuilt from the ground up and took me about 2 years to finish. I swapped out the old 1300 CC VW engine for a fuel injected n/a 2000 cc (2.0L) Subaru engine. Modernized the suspension with 4 wheel disk breaks, 3/4" sway bars and gas shocks. She drives like a new car with the old school feel of a classic bug. The body and doors are original paint and the fenders and hood were repainted to match. It has the full stock interior with an aftermarket carpet kit that I have installed. The car is a blast to drive and hoping to find someone who will enjoy it as much as I have. For me, it is time to move on to the next project. The car breakdown is listed below.
