This is a 1987 Land Rover Defender 110, Left Hand Drive (LHD),
Legally Imported and titled, Registered and smog exempted in
California.
Since this Defender came to the USA in 2013, it has been in
California and has been very well maintained. Land Rover of Sherman
Oaks has completely gone through the mechanicals on this vehicle
and invoices totaling over $44,000 for work completed within the
last year are all documented and available. Engine and Transmission
were rebuilt, brakes all gone through,new power steering box, new
wheel cylinders, new front and rear driveshafts, new gaskets on
transfer case, new motor mounts, new brakes, new exhaust, new
springs and new shocks, new rear sway bar and bushings and all oils
and fluids serviced as well.
The engine is a 4 cylinder 2.5 liter Turbo Diesel with low miles on
it. This truck/SUV is a manual transmission with 4 wheel drive, CD
player, sunroof and seating for at least 10 people. The full roof
is removable for real life Safari type enjoyment!!! The Thule brand
roof rack is a very expensive and very useful on a vehicle like
this.
The vehicle overall is very clean however there is some bubbling in
some areas as pictured. Around the corners of the windows and at
the bottom of the front doors is some bubbling. Under the vehicle,
see pics, looks very good and solid. Inside the vehicle is clean
overall but the dash pad/wrap on the passenger side is peeling back
a bit.
The vehicle runs and drives very nicely. It turns heads and spurs
