Formula for purchase. Government regulations started killing muscle
cars in the 1970's left and right. However, Pontiac kept producing
the Firebird at the brink of what was allowed (with perhaps some
fudging of some horsepower numbers). Of course, Smokey and the
Bandit made the late 70's models highly desired iconic pieces of
cultural automotive history that are incredibly easy to
recognize.
This 1980 Firebird Formula T-Top coupe comes out of a private
collection owned for the last six years stored privately. It's
powered by a Chevy 350ci V8 engine and 350 Turbo automatic
transmission. The engine received a fresh rebuilt including new
rings, bearings, gaskets, valves, cam shaft, and valve covers. It
also features new door panels, new heater core, new weather
stripping, new windshield, and new rear & front speakers. This is a
really fun car to drive providing that classic muscle car thrill
