Vehicle Description
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1979 Ford Ranchero for
purchase. In 1957, Ford introduced a coupe utility in the United
States that was similar to what they were already selling in
Australia. The birth of the modern car-pickup combination was born
and even spawned its GM competitor (the El Camino). With the Torino
ending production after 1976, the 1977 Ranchero was restyled in
line with the Ford LTD II mid-sized car line which replaced the
Torino using the same platform. Although the LTD II was not
produced for many model years, this body style with stacked
rectangular headlamps is among the most popular among
collectors.
This '79 Ford Ranchero is a unique custom that honors the classic
"car-pickups". It's powered by the 351ci V8 engine and automatic
transmission. It features a Thumper cam shaft, new lifters, new
timing chain, new brakes, new shocks, Edelbrock carburetor,
Flowmaster exhaust, MB Motoring wheels, matte black wheels, bed is
spray lined, bench seat red interior, and more! This is a fun
cruiser that is great to show off with a nice loud V8 giving you
that muscle car era experience. Please call or email for more
details!
