This 1976 Chevrolet c10 Pick-up truck is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The C/K line of trucks began in 1960. The c would notate 2 wheel drive vehicles and the k 4 wheel drive vehicles. The third gen C series was the first truck ever designed using computers. Taking 5 years to develop the new series would bring a ton of innovations to the full size pick up market. Whether it was styling with the new box yet curved design for aerodynamics or safety with the collapsible steering column. Maybe this is why they are still sought after almost 20 years later. This 76 is a great example of why people still love them, with just a few changes you can turn these supposed workhorses into sleek cruising machines. The first thing you will notice about this 76 is the Viper red paint job. It is so deep and vivid it looks like someone has been put the car in vat of red paint. The next thing you are going notice id how the truck sits. With drop spindles on the front and the leaf springs flopped in the back this 76 looks and drives nothing like it did in 1976. The wheels definitely compliment the outside with 20's all around but 9 inches wide in the front and 10 in the back give the truck a very aggressive look. Under the hood a 350 small block that was recently rebuilt powers this Red rocket. The aluminum Edelbrock intake with the matching 4 barrel carb gives this beauty just the right amount of fuel. The HEI ignition gives the right amount of spark reliably. Mated up to it is a smooth shifting TH350 that is probably one of the most reliable transmissions ever made. Transferring power to the ground is a 12 Bolt rear end which many would say is the best rear end out there. The mid range HYD cam is gives great middle of the road pick up while letting the truck actually idle. The ceramic coated headers hooked into the 2.5 inch exhaust which goes back into a set of flowmaster. The resulting exhaust note is music to the ears. You open the cab door and the interior is probably like nothing you have seen in a truck before. Low back buckets with a center console make you feel like you're in a sports car. With the cream vinyl making the red pop even more there is no way you will be able to go somewhere without getting noticed.
