This E-Type roadster is finished in a spectacular color combination of red over black. The Series I XKEs included such desirable features as covered headlights, comfortable bucket seats, toggle switches on the dash, fabulous instrumentation and a center console with armrest among other options. This beautiful E-type has benefitted from a comprehensive, no-expense-spared, documented restoration by Jaguar professionals. During the restoration, the car was stripped to metal, painted, wet-sanded and buffed. A new BAS interior was installed with a new soft-top and the the bows were restored. The engine and suspension were rebuilt and all the systems were gone through. It was also fitted with new wheels and tires. Under the hood, the XKE offers great performance along with a number of upgrades, including a 6-cylinder with overhead cam, headers, triple SU carburetors and 5-speed fully synchronized transmission. It's also equipped with stainless-steel exhaust, cooling fan, Gaz adjustable shocks, Wilwood brakes with braided stainless flex lines and a high-torque starter. Other features include an alloy radiator and poly bushings throughout. Since the restoration, it was well-sorted by marque specialists Classic Showcase of Oceanside, CA.
