a deeper and wider front fascia, a blacked-out grille, and what BMW
refers to as 'Corona Rings' (but are commonly known as 'Angel
Eyes') around the headlamps. The rear bumper and air diffuser also
differ from the Z4's. For the M roadster, BMW shoehorned the 3.2L
inline-6 from the E46 M3 into the lighter, more agile E86 Z4 body.
The result: a genuine drop-top rocket with 330hp and
ultra-communicative handling to boot. Step on the gas and the
engine will scream to an 8,000-rpm redline, smashing 60mph in less
than 5 seconds on its way to a 155mph (limited) top speed. A
6-speed manual is the only transmission available - a must for any
driving enthusiast - and the M roadster comes standard with
performance brakes, a performance tuned suspension, limited slip
differential and a near-perfect weight distribution for incredible
handling.Inside the cockpit, this roadster is equipped with snug
heated M sport seats and a sport steering wheel, power seat
adjusters, and hi-fi audio. Further features include Xenon head
lamps, optional GPS navigation, leather upholstery, auto climate
control, on-board computer, rain-sensing wipers and power-operated
soft top. The standard-equipment M-style seats are highly
bolstered, comfortable, and supportive, and they provide occupants
the increasingly rare ability to move the rear portion of the seat
bottom down, which provides better support for one's thighs. The
thick, red-and-blue-stitched M-style steering wheel looks cool, is
just the right size, and has bump outs at ten and two o'clock so
