AMC Jeep was known for their special edition Jeeps including the Golden Eagle, Super Jeep, Laredo, Levi and Renegade editions. Levi Strauss commissioned Jeep to build the Levi edition as a marketing tool for their Denim Jeans and Clothing company. The Levi edition used Denim like material and buttons from Levi Straus to showcase the Jeep. Special edition Jeeps remain high on the list for any 4X4 enthusiast or collector.
The 1977 Jeep CJ-7 Renegade offered here is indeed an Levi edition and features the seat and dash material as well as the buttons and decals. This Jeep remains in excellent condition inside out and mechanically as it was the recipient of a complete restoration. It is powered by its inline 6 cylinder engine, rare automatic transmission and Jeeps bullet proof 4 wheel drive system. The car comes complete with power steering, power brakes, automatic on the column, integrated roll bar, Pioneer stereo system, stainless steel grill and bumpers, new Best Top soft top, soft doors and Renegade graphics package.
