Vehicle Description
Just finished a show quality restoration. Started with a clean
Chevelle convertible. Restored as a correct SS 396. Has period
correct, rebuilt 396-325 horsepower motor. Upgraded aluminum
radiator with overflow bottle, HEI ignition and new Quadrajet carb.
New power steering pump. Motor compartment is detailed to stock
condition. Has turbo 400 automatic. Had F-41 suspension. New
Flowmaster exhaust. Underside is all metal, no rust. Body is
straight and clean. It was taken apart and completely painted. Has
a glass finish. I just asked 2 guys standing by the car what they
thought of the paint. They said it is very impressive. All of the
chrome is replaced-taillight bezels, handles, bumpers, hood
louvers, grill, etc. New windshield, weatherstrips and window
seals. New 15 inch rally wheels and BFG tires. Restored interior
including upholstery, door panels, armrests, handles and visors.
Entire dash area is redone. Has a beautiful set a custom Stewart
Warner gauges, stereo with speakers built into the kick panels, new
bezels. Clean trunk compartment with a carpet mat, a jack and
spare. New convertible top, boot and motor. Has independent
appraisal of $75,000. 1967 Chevelles are very desirable wether they
are stock or custom. It's the convertibles that are hard to come
by. This is a gorgeous example.
