For Sale: 1985 Ford Mustang GT in Sugar Land, Texas

Vehicle Description

For Sale !!!! 1985 Mustang GT convertible with only 19,867 documented original miles. Car is originally from Oklahoma and is clean and dry underneath. Never any accidents, rust or paint work except for a few dabs of touch up paint here and there from paint chips throughout the years. Despite these minor imperfections the car shows beautifully but it is not a 100 point show car. Please understand she is over thirty years old and did not live in a vacuum. I am up front and honest but look at the high resolution pictures, this is a very fun car. I have the original dealer invoice, title, factory build sheet, Marti Report, owner's manuals and a book full of service records. The Marti Report states that this Foxbody is 1 of 79 with this paint and trim combination (Medium Canyon Red with Grey Leather). I’m not sure how many have survived. This one is un-restored and un-modified. This was the last year of the 4 barrel Holley carberated V8's, so it represents an interesting model year in Mustang history. Always cared for, she is driven seasonally and stored in a garage under a car cover. Clutch is good, runs like a scared rabbit, tires, radiator, exhaust, ice cold A/C, radio, all in excellent condition. Her only issue is that the rear windows are getting a bit “lazy”. Other than that, she runs, looks and sounds very, very nice. This four eyed fox body gets a lot of attention and compliments at all the local events. You can have a sweet survivor or take it to the next level, the choice is yours. As tempting as it is, I have elected to keep her stock as they are “only original once”. From day one however, you'll have a turnkey, 100% mechanically sound GT convertible that you can get out and enjoy immediately with zero disappointments. The bottom line is, this is a low production (1 of 79), low mileage GT convertible that is a blast to drive. It's hard to find a nicer one for this price.
