For the 2010 model year, the Shelby Mustang GT500 was totally
redesigned and production was limited to 2000 units. The exterior
rework included new front and rear fascias, a hood with functional
vents and a unique rear spoiler with Gurney flap. The output of the
4-cam 5.4L engine was increased to 540 hp and 510 lb/ft of torque.
This engine (lifted from the limited production GT500KR) is
equipped with an intercooled Eaton supercharger and cold air
intake. Behind that, a Tremec 6060 six-speed transmission and
bulletproof differential with 3.55:1 gearing transfers the power.
The Ford SVT Group also re-tuned the coupe's suspension with front
Tokico struts, a rear live-axle (w/Panhard rod) and 19"x9.5" forged
wheels to reduce unsprung weight. The Shelby GT500 can sprint from
0 to 60 in 4.19 seconds with a top speed of 180 MPH (electronically
governed to 155 MPH). To slow down, braking is provided by 14"
ventilated front rotors w/4-piston calipers and 11.8" ventilated
rear rotors. This particular low-mileage Shelby GT500 is everything
that you would expect it to be. It is original, unmolested and just
plain beautiful. The Kana Blue Metallic, the white strips, the SVT
wheels, the Cobra insignias - what a visual impact this car
delivers. Inside, the original Charcoal Black leather interior
looks virtually new. Features include: climate A/C, AM/FM/CD
stereo, power tinted windows, cruise, power seats/locks and nice
Continental radials. This is a very special, very high-performance
Mustang and Ford only made a few. Call 800-650-1055, or visit us at
