1981 DARK BLUE CORVETTE T TOP BLUE INT
Numbers matching, 54,000 original miles, automatic, blue leather interior, alloy wheels, tilt and tele steering column, original Delco AM/FM radio, power steering, power brakes, working R134A A/C, original valve covers, original ignition shielding, original air cleaner assembly, dual sport mirrors, power seat, power windows, glass T-tops, and much more.
We drove this corvette over 3 hours home. It is a very nice and tight vette to drive. The paint and interior appear mostly original other then the new Al Knock Leather-Like seat covers. This vette has a clean vehicle history report showing it came to PA out of TX in 1998.
We just installed new left side upper and lower control arm bushings, upper and lower ball joints. We also changed the oil and filter, checked and lubed the chassis, and changed the rear end grease and additive.
1981 was the last year for a carburetor on the corvette. It was also the first year for a computer in a corvette. This was the last year for the Saint Louis Assembly Plant and the first year for the Bowling Green Plant. GM only produced 2,522 Dark Blue Metallic corvettes out of 40,606 total production in 1981.
